You enjoy playing games with your friends irl? You want to keep track of your scores and analyze them? Then GamesBook is the right place for you.
GamesBook is a simple and free notebook for game results. It allows you to save, share and analyize games you play with friends. You can create a shared group account for up to 10 players, to then add logs with the results of the games you played with the group. Now you have access to all of the group's games and analytics in GamesBook to never lose track of scores again.
Register a group account to start with GamesBook (this takes only 2 minutes and not even an email address).
A group of up to 10 players can share this account (you need at least 2 players, but can add more anytime).
If there is another group of people you play with it is recommended to make a separate group account (e.g. one group for the cards guys and one for the family).

First, choose a game you want to play and game it.
Then, make sure to log the results of your game in GamesBook.
Logs are a record or note of the game and its results.
Depending on the actual game you play, the information and moment you log will differ. Therefore GamesBook offers game modes.
Here are two examples:
⌑ If you do a 'Puzzle', you will simply puzzle it and measure the time it takes you to finish it. Afterwards, you log your time in GamesBook.
⌑ Say you play Scrabble. This is a round-based, multiplayer game. You can have GamesBook open while you play and enter the points after each round or after a playthrough - you decide. Once you are done, you save the log of the Scrabble session. The game mode for this is 'Rounds'.

GamesBook offers analytics for your group. All players can login and revisit the groups' logged games and results. You can see how the players have performed, developed their gameplay or simply remember the fun you've had playing together.
Btw ... GamesBook is a Data Science project, so this will be a core feature to check out.
Choose a mode to explore:
Rounds includes all round-based games such as board or card games, sports or party games. Each round you can enter points for every player. The winner is the player with the most points. This mode works for most types of games. Either you note down rounds (as in scrabble) or the results of multiple games you want to combine, e.g. cards or table tennis. You will be able to anayze each game title seperately, e.g. checking out who won most scrabble matches or what is your win rate in table tennis.
You might know this game as 'Yatzy' or 'Kniffel' - this is it. Players roll 5 dice to receive points in the given 13 categories. The categories are pre-defined, examples are 'Multiple 3's' or 'Full House'. The winner is the player with most points in total. Don't worry if you don't know the rules, Gamesbook will help you play it with ease.
🧩 Challenge your (Jigsaw) puzzle skills! Add all your puzzles to the Gamesbook library and log the time it took you to finish them. You can then log your times in GamesBook in a easy way. Just add the puzzle once and then save logs each time you finish it. After a view entries you will be able to explore your stats and compare within your group or between different puzzles.
